I really hated going to these family things, they like to get together every five years and have a family reunion, most of them I hardly know and really don’t want to see. This would be the first one I have gone to since moving out on my own, I drove two counties over from where I live to the get together, mostly to see my parents and my brother, the rest was just a mess, a bunch of odd family members and some friends that like to get together and drink till someone gets into a drunken argument. I checked into a hotel near the state park where the reunion was to be held, I unpacked and stretched out on the bed to relax before heading out to have dinner with my brother and parents. Dinner was great, I had not seen them in a few months, my brother is 16 and just got his first girlfriend so he spent most of his time texting her, I could tell when he was texting love and kisses stuff as he would look up to see who was looking at him. They would all be at the get together the next day,
